China General Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN), formerly known as China Guangdong Nuclear Power Corporation (CGN), is a central enterprise that has grown up with China's reform and opening up and the development of nuclear power industry. It is a national super-large enterprise group composed of the core enterprise CGN Corporation Limited and more than 40 major member companies.In September 1994, China Guangdong Nuclear Power Corporation was officially registered and established.In April 2013, China Guangdong Nuclear Power Corporation changed its name to China General Nuclear Power Corporation, and China Guangdong Nuclear Power Corporation Limited changed its name to China General Nuclear Power Corporation Limited.

      The mission of CGN is to "develop clean energy for the benefit of human society" and the vision of CGN is to "become a world-class clean energy enterprise".By the end of June 2020, CGN had 24 nuclear power units in operation, with an installed capacity of 27.14 million kilowatts.Five nuclear power units are under construction, with an installed capacity of 5.8 million kilowatts.It has a controlling installed capacity of 14.33 million kW of domestic wind power in operation, 5.24 million kW of solar photovoltaic power generation projects in operation, and 10.78 million kW of overseas new energy in operation.In addition, it has also made good progress in the fields of distributed energy, nuclear technology application, energy conservation technology service and so on
